Do you screen renters or property owners?
No.We suggest that property owners take necessary precautions to ensure renters are trustworthy. Likewise, renters must assure themselves that property owners are legitimate and that the property is available.
Do you provide leasing forms?
We provide links to third party sources for leasing forms. By using our links, you qualify for a discount on most products.
When will my listing appear?
Your listing will appear as soon as your payment clears.
How long will my listing appear?
Your listing will expire on the last scheduled day of the related event.
Do I have to pay hotel tax?
Please check with your state or local tax authority to determine if you would owe any taxes.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept (A) Visa, (B) MasterCard, and (C) Discover.
What if I don’t get paid? What if the property is not as described?
Please make every effort to ensure that the party you are dealing with is legitimate and trustworthy. National Event Rental is a listing service only, does not screen renters or property owners, and is not responsible for anything beyond providing a listing service. If either of these or other unfortunate situations occurs, please report then to us so that we can improve our services.
How do I place a listing?
First, register under the registration link. Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Next, select the “Add Property” link and complete the required information describing your property for rent. Next, select the event that you wish to list your property under. You can also select if you’d like to be a featured property. Finally, complete the order by submitting credit card information.
How do I contact a property owner?
Find the property that you are interested in, and click “More Details” to see a detailed view. Fill out your information, and then click “Request For Booking”. An email will be sent to the property owner. It is then the owner’s decision if they would like to follow up or not.
Will the landlord contact information be shown?
No. Renters will only see pictures and description of the property, as well as an address for mapping purposes. They will not see your name, phone, email, or other contact information.
Can I link to other web sites?
Please limit any hyperlinks to personal pages describing your property. All hyperlinks will be reviewed, and any prohibited content will result in removal of listing and no refund. Prohibited content includes spam, non-related sites, email addresses, etc.
What featured property options do you offer?
We offer 2 spaces for featured properties on our home page and unlimited featured properties on each event page. These are sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
Why can’t I add my listing as a featured property?
We have a limit of 2 featured properties on the home page, on a first-come-first-served basis. If this limit has been reached, a message will inform you that more featured properties cannot be allowed. However, you can still make your property featured in the event page.
What is your refund policy?
National Event Rental does not become involved in arrangements between property owners and renters, and these parties can arrange for refund provisions in their contracts if they desire. All listing fees paid to National Event Rental are non-refundable, whether or not any prospective renters contact the listing property owner. Listing fees are not refundable if the event is cancelled. In the event that this web site experiences technical problems that result in our service being suspended, refunds will be issues at the company’s discretion.
How do I remove a listing that I posted?
If you wish to remove your listing before the event end date, please email us at contact@nationaleventrental.com. Provide us with your name, the property name, and the event.
I forgot my password, what can I do? How do I change my password?
Click the “forgot password” button in the registration/login window. An email will be sent to your address with instructions on how to change your password.
How do I register?
Please click the “register” button in the registration/login window. Fill out the required fields and submit the form. If a field is not applicable, please put “n/a”.
Why can’t I edit certain fields in my listed properties?
Certain fields are unable to be edited by the user after payment has processed for security purposes. If a change is required in one of these fields, please contact us at contact@nationaleventrenal.com, and we will be glad to assist you.
What are you listing fees?
Our fees are based on a tiered system and vary by event. However, most events will fall under the following structure:
